First Catch Frozen Alaskan King Crab
The Alaskan king crab is a species of king crab native to the far northern Pacific Ocean, including the Bering Sea and Gulf of Alaska, but also introduced to the Barents Sea.
The biggest, meatiest, juiciest pieces are in the crab's claws. Its flavor is sweet and its texture is succulent. Use it when size matters, whether it's a crab sandwich or a crab stuffed artichoke. It's a good choice for the Italian fish stew called cioppino and great for gumbo.
