This quick and easy egg fried rice recipe makes use of adlai for a healthy-take on a comforting classic. Adlai is a gluten-free grain that is highly likened to rice, only globular in shape and nuttier in taste. Tossed in with classic fried rice ingredients, this Adlai Egg Fried Rice recipe is sure to fill your stomach with warm, hearty, and healthy goodness. You can even cook the rice ahead of time for easy access to fried rice on-the-go.
Ingredients

2 cups Hineleban Adlai
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 pcs large eggs (beaten)
4 pcs garlic (minced)
1 pc red onion (chopped)
1/2 pc carrot (small diced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp hoisin sauce (alternative: sweet soy sauce)
1 tsp rock salt
2 tbsp green onions (chopped)
Directions
Cook the adlai according to the package directions. Allow to cool after cooking before using.
Heat half of the oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat. Pour in and scrable the eggs then remove from the pan once almost cooked.
Heat the remaining oil on the same pan over high heat and saute the garlic, onion, and carrots. Add in the adlai and toss until incorporated.
Season the fried rice with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and salt then add back the scrambled egg. Continue to toss until fully incorporated.
After cooking, garnish with chopped green onions.
