This deep-fried breaded chicken breast smothered with Truff Pomodoro Sauce and cheese makes the perfect chicken parmesan recipe. Its crispy chicken coating, flavorful pomodoro sauce, and cheesy goodness is sure to give you one chicken dinner that you will never forget.
2 pcs chicken breast (halved)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp rock salt
1/4 cup all purpose flour
1 large egg (beaten)
1 cup bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmesan cheese (shredded)
1/4 cup mozzarella cheese (sliced or shredded)
1/2 cup Truff Pomodoro Sauce
1 tbsp fresh basil (chopped)
1 liter vegetable oil
Marinate the chicken in half of the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper for 15 mins then season the flour with the remaining spices.
Preheat the oven to 220deg C. Meanwhile, combine the parmesan and breadcrumbs. Coat the chicken in flour, egg, and breadcrumb mixture then set aside.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat . Fry chicken for 4 -5 minutes until golden then place on a baking tray. Layer the sauce and mozzarella on top of the chicken then bake in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped basil.
